Umpires

Thank you to all of our Umpires! We often forget how important an Umpire is to the game of Baseball. Adult umpires are 100% volunteer, and we are lucky to have the leadership and experience we have in our District.

Layritz Little League house league games rely on our youth umpires who are developing their skills as umpires. Layritz Little League follows a zero-tolerance policy towards questioning or bickering at umpires at all levels. If you have any suggestions for our umpires, it is best to email Layriz Little League's Umpire in Chief Umpire@Layritz.ca.

All Layritz youth umpires must be Majors Baseball age (non-players should be 11+ years old).  Adults must successfully complete the Criminal Record Check online and participate in the annual District 7 Umpire Clinic.
